SGI has some advice for those traveling on Saskatchewan roads this weekend.
Local police forces will be conducting checkstops therefore SGI encourages motorists to be patient while passing through them.
Drive sober is another tip, there are many ways to get a ride home including taking the bus, calling a cab, contacting a sober friend or staying the night.
Weather conditions can also change quite quickly so make sure you’re prepared before hitting the road and give yourself and other drivers plenty of room.
And buckle up, when riding in a vehicle, you need to wear a seatbelt.
Drivers can also get a separate ticket worth $175 dollars for each passenger not wearing a seatbelt under the age of 16.
