While most of Saskatchewan is looking at a significant cool down with single digit highs forecast for mid-week, snow is expected in some parts of eastern BC and western Alberta including Calgary.
A special weather statement has been issued for the affected regions with snow expected Tuesday evening continuing through Wednesday in parts of Alberta with snowfall between 10 and 25 centimetres possible. It is forecast to be heavy, wet snow at times mixed with rain.
Southern Saskatchewan including Swift Current, Moose Jaw and Regina regions will be most impacted with daytime highs dipping as early as tomorrow (Tuesday). The cooling off doesn’t descend in central and northern Saskatchewan until Wednesday and in some cases Thursday and so far, any moisture in the Saskatchewan forecast is just for rain.
