There is construction to watch out for on a couple of main roadways in Saskatoon this coming week.
The second phase of the College Drive water main maintenance project starts Monday. While two-way traffic on College Drive will be maintained, there will be lane reductions on both sides between Clarence and Cumberland Avenues. This phase is expected to take approximately 11 weeks to complete. There will be a zipper merge in place where drivers are reminded to use all available lanes and take turns at the end to help everyone get through the work zone faster.
Also starting Monday, Warman Road southbound ramp to Circle Drive westbound will be closed for a sewer main installation which should take two weeks to complete. Drivers will be unable to access Circle Drive westbound from Warman Road north and will need to use alternate routes, like Millar Avenue.
In both instances, Saskatoon Transit will be affected by these detours.
