The Prince Albert Immigration Hall has been designated a historic building by the provincial government. It’s linked to the wave of immigration into the province in the 1920’s. The province says the building is one of the more substantial ones built in Western Canada for the purpose of immigration. It is also the last remaining example of the 34 known immigration halls that were built in this province. It is currently owned by the YWCA.
