Regina police are investigating a motor vehicle accident that happened Saturday morning on Saskatchewan Drive and Lorne Street.
Police responded to the scene shortly after 1:30 and the preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle was stopped facing west on Saskatchewan Drive when it was then rear ended by another vehicle.
The two people inside the car that was rear ended were taken to hospital with non-life threatening but serious injuries.
Police say traffic restrictions will be in place for sometime.
