Spiritwood RCMP are searching for two males after shots were fired on the Witchekan Lake First Nation Monday afternoon.

Police say Kelly Witchekan and Melvin Starblanket are the two suspects.

Witchekan is described as having brown hair and eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weights 140 lbs.

Starblanket is described as having black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 160 lbs.

The red Ford Mustang that was reported to be involved has been located and authorities say is not connected to the investigation.

The investigation is now focused on the Witchekan area. If in the Witchekan area, remain vigilant. Do not approach suspicious persons or pick up hitch hikers. Report sightings and info to police, emergencies to 9 1 1.
