The Martensville Fire Department responded to a collision involving a bus and semi-trailer.

The MFD got a report of a collision on the Northbound off-ramp into Martensville at about 7:45 pm on Thursday.

Reports say the bus had 25 passengers on board with some reporting minor injuries. One patient was transported to hospital with minor injuries as well.

A release from Prairie Sky School Division says students were later picked up by a second bus and returned to the school. The release went on to say the bus had rear-ended the semi-trailer and that two students and their families were seeking precautionary medical attention after the collision.

The scene has since been cleared and the accident remains under investigation by police.
