Kindersley RCMP are investigating after two miniature horses were seriously injured in a reported dog attack just outside town.

Police received the report Sept. 8 from a rural property in the RM of Kindersley.

Owner and local veterinarian Kaitlyn McIntyre says when she discovered the horses two were badly injured and unable to walk.  Friends, family and veterinary staff helped transport the animals for emergency treatment.

McIntyre says the horses have required intensive treatment, with one horse’s prognosis still uncertain.

The RCMP investigation remains ongoing and a go fund me has been set up to help get the fence repaired.
