A third man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a February homicide in Saskatoon.
Around 12:30 in the morning on February 17th, patrol officers responded to an injured person in a home in the 200 block of Avenue I South and found a 48-year-old-man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after he arrived. Police reported at the time that the victim and suspect knew each other.
In early April, the RCMP’s North Battleford Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team arrested a 37-year-old man in North Battleford, because he was wanted on warrants for beach of probation. The next day, a 34-year-old man was also arrested. Both men appeared before a Justice of the Peace.
Now, a 36-year-old man has been arrested and will appear in court this afternoon.
