Our premier has returned from his trade mission to Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong. The focus was on expanding and diversifying access to Asian markets for food, fuel and fertilizer . The government says there were more than 25 meetings and events, including the signing of 10 Memoranda of Understanding. Premier Scott Moe says, “Japan and South Korea represent key growth markets for our food, fuel, and fertilizer but also service as launch points into developing markets in the Asian region.” The premier was joined on the trip by industry and business stakeholders including Cameco, Mosaic and Canpotex.
