The trial for 36 year old Brendan Olynick is underway in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
The trial will run Monday and Tuesday.
Olynick who from Saskatoon was arrested and charged in December following and investigation by the ICE Unit.
The investigation started with concerning online posts that had been located.
It’s alleged Olynick was trying to arrange with a woman, to commit a sexual offence against a child.

The 36 year is facing a charge of arranging to commit a sexual offence against a child.
