It took less than four minutes for Saskatoon Firefighters to arrive at a house fire at 1831 Avenue D North. The call came in just before nine o’clock last night (wed). They could see smoke drifting out from the eves as they arrived. Crews swept through the house to make sure no one was inside while at the same time extinguishing a small fire in a closet. The cause was determined to be arson. Damage hit $20 thousand.
