Not only will it cool you off on a hot summer’s day, having a Dairy Queen blizzard today (Thurs) means helping out the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. It’s Miracle Treat Day with net proceeds from each blizzard in Saskatchewan going to the Hospital Foundation. Last year in the province, $246,268 was raised across 43 locations. The partnership between Dairy Queen and the Children’s Miracle network began in 1984. The Children’s Miracle Network raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals, 14 of which are in Canada, including what will be the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan.
