A 20 year old man is expected to hear his sentence on August 1st in connection to an 8 year old girl’s abduction.
She who went missing from a playground in Prince Albert in July of 2017.
An amber alert was issued and the girl was found later on the outskirts of the city.
Jared John Charles was originally charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, kidnapping, abduction, abandoning a child, criminal negligence and forcible confinement.
He pleaded guilty to kidnapping earlier this year and to sexual assault, but not guilty to aggravated sexual assault.
