Following the stabbing of a 37-year-old man over the weekend, the Saskatoon Police Service is investigating and searching for a suspect.
According to a police news release, officers responded to the 900 block of 22nd Street West at about 9:45 a.m. on Saturday for an injured person call. Upon arrival, police found the victim with injuries consistent with having been stabbed.
He was transported by paramedics to hospital for further medical treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The location of the stabbing is not known with the Saskatoon Police Service asking anyone with information that may assist to contact them at 306-975-8300 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
