The Greenall High School modernization and expansion project has hit a key milestone, leading to the focus shifting from design to finding a general contractor.
The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Prairie Valley School Division, have launched a Request for Proposal to secure a general contractor after the completion of the design phase.
The RFP process is meant to find a qualified contractor to carry out construction. The final design was an essential milestone for proceeding to the RFP tender.
The project was approved during the 2023-24 Provincial Budget. The project includes renovations to the existing school and construction of a 1,050-square-metre addition to increase school capacity. The expansion is meant to address key programming needs.
The RFP is available online on the SaskTenders website. It will close on July 28.
