A 62-year-old North Battleford man has died following a two-motorcycle collision near Battleford. Battlefords RCMP say officers were called to the scene on Highway 40 at around 5:15 Saturday afternoon, where emergency crews and local fire personnel responded.

One rider was pronounced dead while being transported to hospital, while the second rider was taken to hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.

Neither motorcycle had any passengers, and RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
