The Saskatoon Summer Players’ is bring the show “Oliver” to life this summer.
The performance takes place from June 19th to the 28th at the Remai Art Centre.
The group has had a heavy emphasis on family during the production, with the cast featuring many parents and children, married couples, and families working toghther.
There’s more then 60 people in the cast and, nearly a third of the cast is kids aged 8-13.
The show’s director, Kristie Elliott is hoping people leave the show with a sense of joy.
“Its a show about hope and about hoping that our futures are going to be okay and keeping on going in life,” she said. “So we hope that people leave really feeling some joy and happiness and hope for the future.”
