The Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Teams (SERT) continued to combat organized crime and apprehend high risk offenders in 2025 as part of their efforts to remove drugs and weapons from communities across the province.
Last year, Saskatchewan RCMP’s SERT units executed 765 arrest warrants, obtained and conducted 375 search warrants, conducted or assisted with 69 interprovincial investigations, made 1048 total arrests and laid 955 charges under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The efforts led to the seizure of around 60 kilograms of methamphetamine, 14 kilograms of cocaine, 357 grams of fentanyl, three kilograms of other drugs, 70 pharmaceutical-style tablets and over 120 firearms in Saskatchewan.
SERT includes five units; the Crime Reduction Teams, Human Trafficking and Counter Exploitation Unit, Offender Management Unit, Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team, and Warrant Enforcement Suppression Team. The units are based in ten communities and deploy throughout the province.
