Outlook RCMP received a report of a water-related death on Lake Diefenbaker at approximately 4:45pm on Saturday afternoon.

The following day, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Underwater Recovery Team removed a man from the water. The man was declared dead on the scene. He has been identified as a 30-year-old man from Saskatoon.

The Saskatchewan Coroners Service is investigating. This is considered a sudden death investigation. As there is no element of criminality, the RCMP says it will not be releasing further details.
