There was a celebration yesterday (Tues) recognizing all of the programs and projects receiving grants from the Saskatoon Community Foundation. The Quality of Life Grants are given to various fields of interest which this year are all focused on reconciliation, belonging and inclusion. They include a program to help with aggression and anger control for teens from Family Service Saskatoon called Calming the Volcano Within and STR8 Up’s Moving Forward which focuses on personal healing and professional development for those trying to get themselves out of gangs and criminal street lifestyles.
