A 25-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges following a weapons investigation that happened overnight Wednesday.

Both men fled when they saw the officers. The Jeep drove to the area of Avenue N South and 20th Street West, and a successful traffic stop was made. The 25-year-old man driving was arrested and found to be in possession of a machete, a pocketknife, methamphetamine and fentanyl. The man with the firearm was not located.
