Rose Valley RCMP say the death of a 66-year-old man in Rose Valley is considered suspicious in nature.

On Thursday around 11 a.m. Rose Valley RCMP received a report of a male in medical distress at a home in the community. The man was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as Willard Buckle from Rose Valley.

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU) is working with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service to determine the male’s cause of death.

Homicide investigators are asking anyone who lives in Rose Valley to check their home security cameras and doorbell cameras between November 1 and November 5.

Investigators advise there will be an increased police presence in Rose Valley for an undetermined amount of time.
