Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon presented by CIBC Wood Gundy wrapped up its 24th year of broadcasting, on 37 radio stations across Saskatchewan, and this year raised an astounding $1,517,923 for children and families, supporting the Point-of-Care Ultrasound program (POCUS) at JPCH by funding vital technology and training to help provide clarity when seconds count.
We are deeply grateful this year for three inspired gifts to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon.
A generous donation of $100,000 came in from an anonymous donor who is a long-time supporter of our Foundation and we are beyond grateful for their generosity.
Alongside contributions from individual donors, local community partners enthusiastically rallied in support of the event. A highlight of this community effort was a brand-new hot beverage campaign spanning all McDonald’s locations in Saskatoon, Martensville, and Warman. The initiative generated tremendous local support, raising $15,000 for the Radiothon.
Capital Automotive Group also donated to the Radiothon, announcing their incredible gift of $25,000. Thank you, Capital Automotive Group, for supporting the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Program at JPCH.
“The generosity and thoughtfulness of the people in our province is overwhelming,” said Troy Davies, CEO of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Thank you to everyone who tuned in, picked up the phone, and made a meaningful difference for our youngest patients. These funds will support multiple departments at JPCH, ensuring Saskatchewan children receive the very best care, close to home. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all the medical professionals, families and kids who shared their stories, giving us hope and inspiration, and to the sponsors, media partners, dedicated donors and volunteers who made this event possible.
