The Regina Police Service is urging both drivers and pedestrians to use caution following 10 vehicle-pedestrian collisions in just as many days.

A police release says these instances, where vehicles are striking cyclists, e-bike riders, or walkers have resulted in multiple injuries and one fatality.

The most recent incident occurred shortly after 7: 30 Monday morning. Police were called to the area of Sandringham Road and Cumberland Road for a report that a woman had been struck by a vehicle while walking. The victim was taken by EMS to hospital for what appeared to be serious but non-life threatening injuries. The investigation into the collision continues.

Police tips include ensure you’re able to see clearly out of all windows/mirrors if you’re a driver, crossing the street at a designated cross walk if you’re walking, and wearing a helmet for those traveling on a bike .
