The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal has denied a bail review for Chris Fahlman, the man accused of fatally shooting Tanya Myers while she travelling in a vehicle near Weyburn last fall.
The 43-year-old Regina man was appealing a November 2025 decision that denied his original bail appeal.
Fahlman is charged with second-degree murder and intentionally discharging a firearm while being reckless to the life or safety of another person.
Myers was riding in the passenger seat of her friend’s SUV when she was shot on Highway 39 on the evening of September 12th, 2025. The 44-year-old woman died of her injuries while being transported to hospital in an ambulance.
Fahlman was arrested on November 1st in Regina and has remained in custody since that time.
