Conservation organizations and environmental non-profits are coming together to spread awareness during Native Prairie Appreciation Week, which wraps up today.
Manager of the Saskatchewan Prairie Conservation Action Plan, Carolyn Gaudet, shares that Native Prairie Appreciation Week is a way to engage people from diverse backgrounds about the value of native prairie and foster their appreciation for a unique ecosystem.
The Saskatchewan Prairie Conservation Action Plan will announce the winners of its Social Media Photo Contest and Youth Poster Contest later this month, and Nature Saskatchewan is hosting its 2026 Spring Meet this weekend.
