The Lloydminster RCMP Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) has charged two males after cash and illegal drugs were seized in Lloydminster.
On June 11th as part of an ongoing investigation, officers executed a search warrant at a room in a hotel on 50th Avenue in Lloydminster. During a search of the hotel room, officers located and seized 40 grand in cash, More than 6 litres of GHB, almost three quarters of a kilogram of meth, 243 grams of fentanyl and 233 grams of cocaine.
Twenty-three-year old Yuvraj Dhillon and 20 year old Sukhman Singh, both from Edmonton, are each facing a variety of drug related charges as well as one charge of Possession of Property obtained by crime over $5,000.
In a news release Sgt. Aaron Gervais with the STRT said, “This seizure represents a significant disruption to the illicit drug trade in Lloydminster and area.”
Police seized:
– $40,000 in cash
– 6.182 litres of gamma hydroxybutyrate
– 243 grams of fentanyl
– 233 grams of cocaine
– 725 grams of methamphetamine
Yuvraj Dhillon and Sukhman Singh have each been charged with:
– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
– one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – gamma hydroxybutyrate, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
– one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code.
Dhillon and Singh are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court in Alberta on August 11, 2026.
