The Regina Police Service says one man is facing charges after a fraud investigation that involved multiple victims and losses exceeding $50,000.
Police say between April and September of last year, several people entered into agreements with Sask Abatement to perform residential renovation, abatement, landscaping and construction work.
The victims provided deposits by bank draft and e-transfer after receiving quotes and signed contracts for the proposed projects.
The police investigation determined that some projects were never started, others were only partially completed and several properties were left with unfinished work.
A suspect was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Wednesday morning.
Forty-seven-year-old Jeremy Jordan was in Regina Provincial Court Thursday charged with Fraud over $5,000, Criminal Breach of Trust and Laundering the Proceeds of Crime.
