The Saskatoon Fire Department says no one was injured after fire crews and the Hazmat unit responded to the Canada Post Distribution Centre due to an unknown white powder.
The call came in from the 300 block of 103rd Street East at 8:13 a.m. Monday.
A hot zone was established and one postal worker had been exposed to the unknown substances. SFD paramedics assessed the worker who showed no signs or symptoms of injury or distress.
The product was deemed non hazardous and normal mail operations were allowed to resume.
