An update from Loon Lake RCMP says police have located both Michael Bouvier, and the woman he was believed to have kidnapped, in a rural location near Loon Lake.
Friday morning, RCMP issued a Dangerous Person Alert in connection to a possible kidnapping.
A male suspect with a gun, Bouvier, was last seen on Island Lake First Nation at 11:00 p.m. Thursday night.
The victim is being reported as safe and being assessed by EMS personnel. Michael Bouvier has been taken into custody.
The Dangerous Person Alert issued by the Saskatchewan RCMP for the Loon Lake area has been cancelled. The investigation continues, and updates will be provided as they become available.
