It’s looking like the City of Saskatoon’s scheduled residential street sweeping will likely be delayed until Wednesday, thanks to the rain and wet weather Monday and more in the forecast for Tuesday.
According to a news release from the City, utilizing street sweeping equipment in the rain turns dust and debris into mud, making it hard for the street sweepers to do the best possible job of cleaning the roads. Street sweeping missed during rainfall will be rescheduled at a later date.
