Three 16-year-old males were arrested and have been charged with multiple firearms offences following an incident late Friday evening in Saskatoon’s Erindale community.
Saskatoon Police Service patrol officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 400 block of Kenderdine Road at about 11:30 p.m. on May 3. Officers were unable to locate the victim and are still attempting to locate the person. However, video evidence obtained by the SPS gave them descriptions of the victim and three suspects. Further updates showed and a handgun was shown and pointed at the victim. Eventually, SPS officers, with assistance from the Guns and Gangs Unit were able to locate two vehicles in a parking lot in the 100 block of Nelson Road. A high-risk vehicle stop was conducted with officers finding multiple firearms in the two vehicles. Seven individuals were taken into custody, including the three who were charged. The SPS continues to investigate the incident.
