King Charles III Coronation Medals were presented in Saskatchewan for the first time Monday.
The inaugural provincial presentation of the medals was hosted by Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty on the first anniversary of His Majesty’s Coronation which is May 6.
Twenty-one individuals were awarded medals at this first medal ceremony, including former premiers and lieutenant governors, environmental conservationists, veterans, artists, and military and police officers.
In honour of The King’s Coronation, the Government of Canada established the King Charles III Coronation Medal programme, which will recognize 30,000 Canadians with this new commemorative medal. The full list of King Charkes III Coronation Medal recipients is below…
