It’s been a tough week for George Strait … his road manager and one-time drummer, Tom Foote, passed away unexpectedly this week.
Tom was the drummer in George’s Ace In The Hole band until 1983 before moving over to road manager.
This is the third loss for George in the past few weeks, after longtime manager Erv Woolsey and fiddler Gene Elders both passed away in March.

Well, it’s official … Randy Travis drops his first single in over a decade tomorrow.
It’s called “Where That Came From”.
He said “when it comes to singing songs for you, there’s always more where that came from. Thank you for singing along all these years.”

Blake Shelton made fun of good buddy Luke Bryan for recently pitching him a dumb spin-off of “Barmageddon” called “Farmageddon”.
He turned it into a compliment though, saying Luke has a lot of “stupid ideas,” but also a lot of ideas in general.
