As of Friday afternoon, six of Saskatchewan’s ferries are open for the season. The Highway Hotline says Clarkboro, Estuary, Hague, Lemsford, Saint Laurent and Wingard Ferries are open while the rest remain closed.
Typically, the ferries operate from April to November, but it depends on the weather and whether the crossing is still frozen. Fluctuating water levels may cause ferry operation and maximum weights allowed to change without notice.
