Broadview RCMP are investigating what they are calling a serious assault that occurred on Kahkewistahaw First Nation on Friday.
On September 15 at 11:10 p.m., Broadview RCMP received a report of a serious assault on the first nation.
Officers responded immediately and determined that three people forced their way into a residence and assaulted a male and a female occupant.
The male victim was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature. The woman reported minor injuries to police. All suspects fled in a vehicle.
As a result of continued investigation, Broadview RCMP has charged three individuals in relation to this incident. Twenty-year-old Braydane Crowe from Kahkewistahaw First Nation faces four charges, 24-year-old Sage Grey from Regina faces three charges, and a youth female from Kahkewistahaw First Nation is charged with break and enter, and assault causing bodily harm.
Warrants have been issued for their arrests and Broadview RCMP are working to locate them. Investigators are asking members of the public to report information on their whereabouts.
Braydane Crowe is described as 6′ tall and 150 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes. Sage Grey is described as 5’7″ and 160 lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes, and a tattoo of a bear paw on his right wrist and a tattoo that says “loyalty brings royalty” on his left forearm.
If you see the suspects, do not approach them, instead contact Broadview RCMP or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
Crowe is charged with:
– one count, carry a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, Section 88, Criminal Code;
– one count, assault causing bodily harm, Section 267(b), Criminal Code;
– one count, aggravated assault, Section 268(1), Criminal Code; and
– one count, break and enter and commit an indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code.
Grey is charged with:
– one count, carry a weapon for the purpose of committing an offence, Section 88, Criminal Code;
– one count, aggravated assault, Section 268(1), Criminal Code; and
– one count, break and enter and commit an indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code.
A female youth from Kahkewistahaw First Nation is charged with:
– one count, assault causing bodily harm, Section 267(b), Criminal Code; and
– one count, break and enter and commit an indictable offence, Section 348(1)(b), Criminal Code.
