The office of the northern Medical Health Officers for the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the Northern Inter-Tribal Health Authority have declared an outbreak of COVID-19 in Beauval following an increasing number of cases. Health officers say a contact tracing investigation is underway and are asking that anyone who may have travelled through the community of Beauval between April 12 and April 27 should self-monitor for any symptoms of COVID-19.
The Health Officers added if anyone develops any symptoms of the virus, they should self-isolate immediately and should call HealthLine 811 or their community health centre for evaluation and advice.
