A provincial RCMP officer staying in a Prince Albert hotel had weapons and a RCMP shirt stolen from his room late Tuesday night.

The incident was reported to the Prince Albert Police Service. An investigation determined that three men and one woman broke into the hotel room on 38th Street West in Prince Albert.

The room was not occupied at the time and the theft was discovered as soon as the officer returned to the room.

The following items were stolen:

-RCMP service pistol
-three pistol magazines
-two carbine magazines
-a baton
-pepper spray
-a grey RCMP shirt with RCMP patches on the shoulders
-police duty jacket
-conducted energy device
-body-worn camera and radio

One man was arrested later Wednesday morning in Prince Albert. The investigation is ongoing to locate the stolen items and arrest the other three people.
