A jogger suffered only minor injuries after being struck by a truck. It happened around 8:30 last night (thurs) at the intersection of Confederation Drive and Laurier Drive. Police say the pedestrian had the right-of-way when a truck turned left, entered the intersection, and struck the jogger. He was taken to Royal University Hospital as a precaution. The driver was ticketed for failing to yield and for having inadequate lights.
