Innovation Saskatchewan has announced a tax incentive program for the technology sector designed to encourage investment in early stage business start-ups. The Saskatchewan Technology Start-up Incentive is a non-refundable 45 per cent tax credit for individuals, corporate or venture capital corporations that invest in an eligible start up business. Investors can earn up to $225-thousand in tax credits per investment and claim up to $140-thousand per tax year.
