Two men are facing charges after police tried to pull over a vehicle around 3:30 this morning [mon]. The vehicle took the Circle Drive West exit off Highway 16 when police tried to pull it over. It had been travelling southbound in the northbound lanes on the highway. Police say they chased the vehicle to the overpass at 51 Street where it struck the centre median and a light standard. Police say there was a short foot chase after that, where one suspect was arrested. The Canine Unit was used to track down the second suspect shortly after. A 27 year old Saskatoon man is facing charges that include Impaired Driving, Dangerous Driving and Evade Police. A 23 year old Prince Albert man is facing a charge of Breaching Court Conditions. He was also wanted on a warrant.
