Around 15-to-16 thousand people are expected at this weekend’s Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo in Saskatoon. Co-founder Mike Fisher says it has grown since the inaugural show in 2013 drew about 2,000 fans. He feels it’s a celebration of pop-culture suitable for movie, television, comic and art enthusiasts. Fisher says spectators will get a chance to meet the celebrities, get autographs, some will do selfies and there will also be hour-long question and answer sessions. The 13 celebrities include Gates McFadden from Star Trek, The Next Generation; Cheers star John Ratzenberger and former WWE wrestler Trish Stratus. The Saskatchewan Entertainment Expo runs Saturday and Sunday at Prairieland Park.
