The Zach Collaros watch was on as the Saskatchewan Roughriders returned to the practice field Tuesday.
Monday reports said that Collaros had passed concussion protocol after leaving Saturday’s Banjo Bowl in Winnipeg early in the fourth quarter. Collaros was with the quarterbacks on the Mosaic Stadium turf while defensive back Ed Gainey was also on the field after missing some of the fourth quarter as the Green and White defeated the Blue Bombers 32-27. G-M and head coach Chris Jones said Collaros would start Saturday against Ottawa at Mosaic Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Riders added a pair of import receivers to the practice roster in K-D Cannon and Jordan Smallwood. Both were late N-F-L cuts by Dallas and Kansas City, respectively. Saskatchewan released import pass-catcher Lonnie Outlaw.
