Saskatchewan parents of Autistic children under 6 years of age can now apply for funding.

The province allocated 2.8 million dollars in the budget.

Parents are eligible to receive 4-thousand dollars for each child under 6 with the disorder.

Provincial officials estimate about 700 children will fall into that category this year.
