A 39-year-old man from Nipawin has died in a collision at the intersection of Highway #35 and Highway #335, near Armley.

On Sunday at 3:40 p.m., Nipawin RCMP, local fire and EMS services were called to the scene.

Investigation determined a pick-up truck was travelling on Highway #35, and an SUV was travelling on Highway #335. The vehicles collided in the intersection.

The driver of the SUV was declared dead at the scene, and the man driving the pick-up truck was treated at the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Nipawin RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
