Environment and Climate Change Canada says a low-pressure system crossing southern Saskatchewan brought a wintery mix of rain and snow to the area for Thanksgiving Monday. Snowfall reports received by ECCC, in centimetres, was by snow-on-ground sensors and observers. And ‘rainfall’ totals, in millimetres, were derived after much of the snow melted on contact with mild ground temperatures, and more precipitation was received as rain.
