The 2027 STARS calendar was launched by Bunge and STARS and features custom art for the first time.

Bunge has been a partner of STARS since 2014. For the past 12 years Bunge has fully covered the cost of printing the STARS calendars to ensure more of the proceeds go back into STARS.

President and CEO of STARS, Dr. John Froh, said, “We are incredibly grateful to Bunge for their continued partnership. Their long-standing commitment speaks to a shared dedication of ensuring life-saving care remains accessible to communities across Western Canada.”

The art featured on the cover of the calendar is made by former STARS patient Shelly Campbell. She was a STARS patient in 2009 after she experienced complications following the birth of her child at a rural hospital.

Campbell’s art on the calendar is made to reflect the “golden hour,” a brief window of time when proper care can make a life changing difference.

Proceeds from the calendars goes towards STARS operations, with calendars and prints available for purchase on the STARS website.
