Saskatoons 10th homicide of the year has taken place in the North Industrial area.

Around 7 am Saturday morning police responded to a report of an injured man in the area of 71st Street East and Lipsett Crescent. When police and fire crew arrived, they attempted life saving measures, but the man later succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Police had closed off 71st St between Millar Ave & Arthur Rose Ave Saturday morning but the police have since cleared the area, and all traffic restrictions have been lifted.
