Big River RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery.

On Wednesday around 11:00 p.m., Big River RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business in Debden.

Officers determined a man threatened an employee with a knife and stole cash before fleeing in a truck. No physical injuries were reported to police.

The truck is described as a grey Chevrolet Sierra. The suspect is described as an adult male wearing a black sweater, jeans, and a red and black hat.

At this time, both the truck and the suspect have not been located.

Big River RCMP are asking anyone with information about this incident, or who witnessed suspicious activity in the Debden area in the late last evening or early this morning to contact police by calling 310-RCMP. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
